One of the grandest rooms in the riad, the Meknes room is a living tribute to Moroccan imperial craftsmanship. Its walls are clad in tadelakt — a centuries-old natural lime plaster, hand-polished with black soap, that seems to absorb the warmth of history itself. A king bed or two generous individual beds, an elegant dresser with wall mirror, and a relaxation corner furnish this ground-floor sanctuary. The large private bathroom, lined with traditional Moroccan tilework, completes the imperial experience.
Location & access
The Meknes room sits on the ground floor, opening onto the inner courtyard. Step-free access from the front door. The medina is yours to explore from there: Jemaa el-Fna is 12–15 minutes away, the spice souk slightly closer, and the Bahia Palace about 25 minutes on foot.
Ideal for
Couples or close friends travelling together (king bed or two twin beds available on request). One of the largest rooms in the riad, with a relaxation nook and a fully tadelakt-clad bathroom. Equally suited to a romantic stay or a friendship trip.
