A riad of more than 200 years, restored — not replaced
The house is more than two centuries old. When it was restored, the choice was clear: keep what gives a riad its soul. The original pillars and the original walls were preserved, then dressed with new materials — the structure is the one that has stood here for generations.
Inside, the original materials were deliberately kept. They are what regulate the temperature naturally, season after season, and what makes the riad so calm and silent once you cross the door — even though you are in the very heart of the medina.
